Belyn and I went to a 12:01 showing of revenge of the sith. Over all it’s the best out of the three newer films, Jedi is still the best star wars film ever made. I think if Lucas would have had some one else direct this one it would have been a whole lot better. After seeing this movie I’m still not convinced of having every set a grandiose 3D special effect. Every shot was way to chaotic, I think sky captain had the same problem. The wide shots look stunning but anything up close is just busy. Don’t get me wrong the 3d was spectacular in every shot as always. But they need to spend time to make them seam more realistic and not this amazing landscape with five billion things going on. It was distracting trying to look at all the work put in to the sets and to pay attention to some of the acting. From what I remember the confusing sets might have been they’re for that purpose alone. McGregor & Jackson did fantastic but every one else just did not have the hart. Maybe if Liam Neeson were in the film he could have jump-started the rest of the cast like in episode one. He was the best actor to ever dawn the Jedi robes.
